Luxury Motor Yachts

Sport yachts and larger motor yachts available for private charter from Nassau.

Choosing a Motor Yacht

Motor yachts suit charters where getting somewhere matters. If your day involves the Exumas, a long run to a particular anchorage, or simply covering distance without spending the whole day doing it, a motor yacht is usually the right answer. They are quicker than catamarans and generally more enclosed, which some guests prefer and others do not.

The trade off is deck space and stability. A large catamaran gives you more room to spread out and sits flatter at anchor, which matters with children aboard or a group prone to seasickness. If speed is not your priority, it is worth comparing both.

Below are motor yachts that charter regularly from Nassau. We have deliberately not listed specifications we cannot stand behind. Where a figure is not shown, it is because it varies or we would rather confirm it against the vessel than publish something approximate.

Availability and Pricing Change Constantly

These yachts are privately owned. Vessels are sold, repositioned between Miami and Nassau, operate seasonally, or become unavailable for the owner's own use. A yacht shown here is not guaranteed to be available on your dates.

Rates move with season, fuel costs, demand, operating costs and market conditions, so we do not publish prices that would be out of date within weeks. Contact us for current availability and pricing.

Common Questions

Questions About Motor Yacht Charters

Choosing between motor yachts, and what to expect on board.

Why choose a motor yacht over a catamaran?

Speed, mainly. If your day involves reaching the Exumas or covering distance without spending all day doing it, a motor yacht is the right tool. If deck space and stability matter more, a catamaran is usually better.

Does a bigger yacht mean a better charter?

Not necessarily. A large vessel is superb for a group of twelve and unnecessary for a couple. Length also affects cost considerably. The right size is the one that fits your group, not the largest one available.

How fast are these yachts?

Sport yachts such as the Sunseeker Predator and the Pershing are considerably quicker than the larger displacement vessels. Rather than quote speeds that vary with sea state and load, we will tell you what a specific yacht can realistically do on your route.

Are the interiors air conditioned?

Yes on the larger motor yachts. In the summer months the air conditioned salon becomes the place guests retreat to between swims, which is worth more than it sounds in August.

How many cabins do these yachts have?

It varies by vessel, and it matters most on a multi day charter. Tell us how your group divides into cabins and we will match vessels to that rather than to length alone.

Is there a chef on board?

A chef is generally available on yachts of roughly forty five feet and larger, which covers the motor yachts on this page. What is served and how it is arranged is confirmed for the specific vessel.

Do all the motor yachts carry water toys?

Water toys vary from yacht to yacht. Jet skis in particular are not carried on every vessel, and where available they may be included or offered at additional cost. We will confirm what is actually on board.

Can these yachts reach the Exumas in a day?

The faster sport yachts can, though it makes for a long day dominated by travel. Our Exumas guide sets out the real distances so you can judge whether a day trip or a multi day charter suits you.

Can we charter a motor yacht overnight?

Yes, and the larger vessels are well suited to it. Nights are usually spent at anchor in sheltered water rather than back at a marina.

Is fuel included in the charter rate?

Fuel is included in most standard day charters. On long passages, such as a crossing from Miami, fuel is normally charged separately because the quantities involved are significant. We make this clear at the quote stage.

Which motor yacht is best for a celebration?

Usually one of the larger vessels, for the deck space and crew rather than the speed. Tell us the group size and the kind of event and we will suggest options.

Are these yachts always available?

No. They are privately owned and are sold, repositioned between Miami and Nassau, or withdrawn for the owner's own use. Contact us for current availability rather than assuming a listed yacht is free.

Ask Which Motor Yachts Are Free

Rather than choosing from a page that may already be out of date, tell us your dates and group size. We will come back with the motor yachts genuinely available and what each one costs.

If a catamaran would suit your group better, we will say so.

The larger motor yachts are committed earliest in high season.
